  1. One allusion to mythology that I see is the Nissan Titan, which is a very large truck. The reason it is an allusion to the Titans of Greek mythology is because they were huge creatures like the Nissan Titan is a huge truck.

  2. One allusion to mythology that i can see is how we named planets after the Greek gods. We named the planets after the gods like Zeus (Saturn) and Hades(Pluto). That is one allusion of mythology.

One allusion to mythology that I can see is an atlas. An atlas is a collection of maps. The Greek Titan Atlas is usually pictured as a man holding the Earth on his shoulders. The atlas was named after the Greek Titan Atlas.

I think Mythology continuees to affect society thousands of years after the people who believed in the myths truth because it keeps the storys and traditions alive, it shows that even people back then had creation and that the world truely has something magical and good to live for.

  6. 1) I think mythology continues to affect society nowadays because many people still believe in them. It is what everyone in their life-time believed in; the same beliefs passed on from generation to generation.

  7. My allusion to mythology is the Atlas. The Atlas is what is usually named as the world. But the Titan Atlas is the one that is holding the world. That is why the Titan Atlas is named as Atlas.

  10. One allusion to Greek mythology that I can see are the planets. We named the planets after the Greek gods. Zeus was the biggest so he was Jupiter the biggest planet, Poseidon ruled the sea so he was Neptune because of how it looked like a sea, and since Hades ruled the underworld which was destructive so he was Mars which lookes like fire which is destructive. That was one allusion of Greek mythology today.

One allusion that I can think of is the cupid (which is his roman name). That represents Valentines Day and in mythology cupid is the son of Aphrodite and his real name is Eros.
